About the role:

Minneapolis, MN

The Data Analyst will support a large‑scale regulatory transformation initiative, playing a critical role in responding to regulatory discovery requests from multiple state commissions. You will be responsible for extracting, validating, analyzing, and preparing data used in formal regulatory and legal responses.

You will work across all project towers (not limited to Customer Experience), partnering with Compliance Analysts, regulatory teams, case specialists, and managers across operating companies. Main data domains include customer accounts, credit inquiries, billing data, and usage data, ensuring information provided to regulators is accurate, consistent, and defensible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, track, and respond to regulatory discovery requests from multiple state commissions
  • Pull data from multiple enterprise systems to support regulatory inquiries
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze datasets related to customer accounts, billing, credit, and usage
  • Prepare clear data outputs, reports, and summaries to support compliance and legal responses
  • Collaborate with internal regulatory teams, case specialists, and managers across operating companies
  • Support broader project deliverables across all transformation towers
  • Help translate complex data into insights that can be understood by technical and non‑technical team members

Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience in data analysis or analytics roles
  • Prior experience supporting large transformation projects
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI/analytics tools
  • Experience producing reports and analytics for team members
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce (or similar platforms)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $73-77/hr.
