RT operator

The RT Operator conducts RT examinations according to the documents produced by the NDE Engineers. He/she is asked to supervise the control activities and to provide reports on their status to the quality inspectors.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Analysis of the job documentation

The RT Operator must be familiar with technical drawings, Quality Control Plans and NDE procedures.

Documentation of Activities

RT Operator writes reports on the done job that are forwarded to the quality control inspectors.

Perform inspection activities

RT Operator conducts control activities respecting the applicable documents.

Requirements

Graduated high school (five years)

2-5 years of experience as RT Operator in manufacturing industries of heavy carpentry or machining; preferred on pressure vessels industries.

Preferred Qualification according to ISO 9712, ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and 97/23/CE (PED)

English level: intermediate

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Knowledge of Excel

Preferred knowledge and application of superficial and volumetric instruments (VT, PT, MT, UT)
