General Job Function:

Under the supervision of the Quality and Business Improvement Manager, the Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) works with different departments to prepare and conduct process and product improvement actions. The incumbent will manage cross functional projects and lead transversal teams within the company and suppliers to reach process and product improvements and develop special projects. The incumbent will manage the improvement of the fabrication cycles deploying a Continuous Improvement culture.

 

Sotto la supervisione del Quality and Business Improvement Manager, il Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) si occuperà di supportare trasversalmente gruppi di lavoro impegnati nell’ottimizzazione di processo e prodotto. I progetti che dovrà sostenere avranno come obbiettivo il miglioramento dei processi e dei prodotti interni nonché delle forniture esterne in un’ottica mirata all’ OpEX. La risorsa gestirà miglioramenti legati al ciclo produttivo in un’ottica di diffusione di una cultura del Continuous Improvement.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

The CIM supports the Quality and Business Improvement Manager in developing improvement process and product plans. / Supporta il Quality and Business Improvement Manager nello sviluppo di piani di miglioramento sia di prodotto che di processo.

Supports the Quality and Business Improvement Manager in managing special projects (such as Automation, digitalization of the manufacture process) / Supporta il Quality and Business Improvement Manager nella gestione di progetti speciali (quali Automazione e Digitalizzazione dei processi manifatturieri)

Works with the Quality and Business Improvement to define and implement Investments with a focus on product quality and profit margins. /E’ coinvolto nella definizione e nell’implementazione degli investimenti mirati all’innovazione per un incremento di qualità e marginalità del prodotto. 

Manages the Kaizen to deploy Continuous Improvement culture. / Gestisce sedute Kaizen per diffondere la cultura del Continuous Improvement

Provides support to Operations/Industrialization for the resolution of complex manufacture issues or for first of a kind related problems. /Supporta la Produzione e l’Industrializzazione nella risoluzione di problematiche correlate al First of a Kind del business manifatturiero nucleare

Cooperates with all Departments and Functions to assure appropriate information flow on the overall understanding of the process improvement. / Si interfaccia con tutti i dipartimenti e funzioni aziendali al fine di assicurare la corretta comprensione del miglioramento di processo

 

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement:

University Degree in Engineering /Laurea in Ingegneria

Years of Experience (if applicable):

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Lean environment within Continuous Improvement Departments, Industrial/process engineering Departments . Previous experiences as Lean Manufacturing Manager will be considered a plus / Minimo 4 anni di esperienza in enti dedicati al prodotto (quali ufficio industrializzazione, Tempi e Metodi) in ambienti incentrati nell’applicazione della Lean Manufacturing. Precedenti esperienze di responsabile o facilitatore del Continuous Improvement sono considerate un plus.

Professional Certifications:

Green Belt Certification (considered as a Plus) / Certificazione Green Belt ( considerato un plus)

Skills and Competencies:

Deep Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools/philosophy /Conoscenza approfondita della metodologia e filosofia Lean

Knowledge of Problem Solving techniques. /Conoscenza delle tecniche di Problem Solving

Knowledge in financial aspects of Capital Expences / Conoscenza degli aspetti finanziari delle spese in Conto Capitale

Knowledge of IT tools is necessary (ERP, MES, Office) / Conoscenza di software informatici utili (ERP,MES,Office)

Knowledge in automation, digitalization, Industry 4.0 tools. /Conoscenza dei principali strumenti per l’automazione, digitalizzazione, Industria 4.0

Technical knowledge on manufacture processes and machinery /Conoscenza dei processi  e macchinari industriali

Fluency in English and Italian. / Inglese fluente
