NDE Engineer

General Job Function:
The NDE engineer is the function to prepare instruction and technical procedures for perform inspection activities (NDE, DIM etc.) according to the customer and regulatory requirements. The NDE engineer participates to technical meetings and he collaborate with others departments to work on solutions for technical issues. The NDE engineer is responsible to support NDE operators during the activities. NDE engineer is responsible to perform indoctrinations to NDE operators on instruction and technical procedures.
 

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):
Instruction and technical procedures: The NDE engineer has the function to prepare instructions and technical procedures to perform inspection activities (NDE, DIM etc.) according to customer and regulatory requirements.
Working on technical solutions: The NDE engineer participates in technical meetings and collaborates with others departments for solutions on technical issues occurred in Mangiarotti or at suppliers
Support NDE examinations: The NDE engineer is responsible to support NDE operators in control activities.
Trainings and indoctrinations: NDE engineer is responsible to perform indoctrinations to NDE operators on instructions and technical procedures. He shall asses the skills and competencies of his personnel and provide suggestions and trainings to fill any gap.

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies: 
Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement:    Graduated high school (five years) or Bachelor’s degree (three years), preferred Master Degree
Years of Experience (if applicable):    Five years of experience on manufacturing industries of heavy carpentry or machining,  preferred experience on pressure vessel industries.
Professional Certifications:    Level II qualification according to ISO 9712 and ASNT/SNT-TC-1A in NDE methods, preferred Level III qualification according to ISO 9712, ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and 97/23/CE (PED)
Skills and Competencies:    English level: advanced
