NDE Lev. III

About the role:

NDE Level III should be capable of developing, qualifying, and approving procedures; establishing and approving techniques; interpreting codes, standards, specifications, and procedures; and designating the NDE methods, techniques and procedures to be used. Provide training on the job to level II NDE operators and support them during the control activities in the workshop. NDE level III can participate in technical discussions/meetings with other departments, clients or agencies.

Key responsibilities:

• Guarantee Personal, Industrial, and Nuclear Safety;
• Perform oversight on NDE activities according to job documentation and related standard and code;
• NDE examination methods (VT-PT-MT-RT-UT-TOFD-PHASED ARRAY): use the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDE method;
• Nondestructive Examination Procedures: review and approve nondestructive examination procedures and work instruction technical adequacy;
• Training: provide training on the job to level I and II NDE operators and support them during the control activities in the workshop;
• Inspection activities: Level III is responsible for oversighting the inspection activities by ensuring compliance with the project quality requirements, standards & codes;
• NDE level III participates in technical discussions with other departments, clients or agencies.
  
  

Education and Qualifications:

• College degree (three-five years);
• Experience in manufacturing industries of heavy carpentry with welding activities will be a plus.
• Level III ISO 9712 and SNT-TC-1A for Magnetic Particle Inspection, Penetrant Inspection, Radiography Inspection, VISUAL Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, TOFD, PHASED ARRAY;
• Ability to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue with all the workshop stakeholders;
• Attention to the details that can make the difference on quality products;
• English language B2 (written/spoken).
