About the role:

As a Quality Project Engineer you will be a member of the Quality Assurance team and you'll ensure compliance with Westinghouse's Quality Management System, customer contract requirements, industry and regulatory codes, standards, specifications, and requirements.

You will report to the Product Assurance Manager and be located in Monfalcone (Italy).

This is temporary role and we're offering a 1 year full-time contract.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure that the customer quality requirements are reflected on it, ensuring the flow down of quality requirements from customer contract.
  • Review project documentation such as: project specific procedures, material purchasing specifications, manufacturing control plans and suppliers documents.
  • Review project purchase orders to assure all applicable quality requirements are included.
  • Ensure that the project team is trained on the project quality requirements.
  • Manage non-conformities.
  • Attend project meetings and participate to audits.
  • Use the CAP tool to correct issues and improve implementation of requirements and current processes
  • Reply to customer/NoBo comments and work with customer/NoBo to find a solution.
  • Run periodical analysis of NCRs causes and effectiveness of corrective actions taken.
  • Oversee supplier’s material certificates review and verification.
  • Review and collect all reports produced

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering 
  • From 0 to 3 years of manufacturing experience in a fabrication shop or highly regulated industry
  • Fluent English
