This is a hybrid working arrangement (2 - 3 days/week) at the New Stanton, PA Facility.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Review drawings, design/technical specifications, and procurement packages for electrical products.
- Perform engineering calculations in support of design or analysis of products.
- Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement or fabrication.
- Determine critical equipment characteristics to support equipment qualification and commercial dedication, including preparation of commercial dedication instructions.
- Assist in the development of equipment qualification test procedures, evaluate test results, and review final reports.
- Research product history and availability – perform equivalency evaluations to determine changes in form/fit/function of commercial products.
- Evaluate and provide feedback to vendor proposals.
- Provide technical input during the proposal process (estimating).
- Develop and maintain material master data in SAP, procurement specifications, BoMs and routings in support of new product introduction.
- Support supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution
Who You Are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
- 0 - 3 years of applicable/relevant engineering experience required
- Previous experience in the Nuclear Industry, specifically in nuclear power plant safety / non-safety systems, IEEE Standards and EPRI 3002002982 is highly desired.
- Proven knowledge and experience with electrical distribution systems (Low/Medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and motor control centers).
- Experience with developing obsolescence solutions for electrical and I&C components, including reverse engineering
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including positive customer interaction skills required.
- SAP knowledge, especially material master data management is desired.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team including quality engineering, supply chain management, sales and marketing, manufacturing, and suppliers
