The Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) seeks an I&C Planning Specialist II in our New Stanton facility to support the WPB Fulfillment team. The New Stanton site works on projects to bolster plant safety and reliability by providing the instrumentation and control, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products and services that our customers require.  This position will focus on planning of WPB Instrumentation & Control Products activities to meet internal and external customer demands. Specific job responsibilities are as follows:

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Order entry including a review of customer contract requirements and follow through with engineering approval. 
  • Determining appropriate priority for work requests and feedback to requesters when necessary
  • Tracking order progress and maintaining order updates/forecasts in SAP
  • Providing estimated work hours and lead time on contract proposals through collaboration with Assistant Area Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, and technicians.
  • Working with Engineering and Supply Chain to requisition materials, products and/or subcontracted services
  • Prioritizing incoming and in-process inspections with Quality Control
  • Working with Inventory Planning to optimize component stocking levels and lot sizes

 

Specific Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years planning experience. 
  • SAP knowledge, especially production, requisitioning, and material master data management is desired
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Experience with contract review and interpretation
  • Basic understanding of Electrical Component manufacturing Drawings and Wiring Schematics is desired
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills and Good Team Orientation are required.
