PEGA Architect

As a PEGA Architect you will work with Business/System Architect team members to develop Pega solutions for the continued development of the existing application. Additionally, this role will be expected to evaluate existing architecture and provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability and/or scalability. Westinghouse Parts Business’ (WPB) PEGA application is a business process management tool supporting our component delivery process.
You will report to the Manager of Process Engineering. This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:

Design/Develop wide ranging PEGA application enhancements and issue fixes.

Participate in solution design activities with business personnel and third parties to ensure sufficiency of requirements and consideration of existing architecture.

Evaluate existing architecture and propose solutions to improve performance, reliability and scalability.

Contribute to growth/improvement of organizational Pega protocols.

Performing root cause analysis of complex issues and provide technical recommendations for resolution. May include direct interface with PEGA support personnel.

Work with Senior System Architect and IT to coordinate code deployment to various environments.

Work with Senior System Architect, IT and Pega personnel to coordinate Pega version upgrade(s).
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience
-
Bachelor Degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, information technology or other related field.

Pega CSA/CSSA Certification

Strong expertise in Pega frameworks, case management, decisioning and integrations. Pega version 8.x or later.

Experience with Pega SOAP based connector rules and service rules.

Experience supporting / working with highly integrated enterprise application(s).
