Quality Engineering Intern

We are hiring a Continuous Improvement/Quality Engineer intern to join our Quality Operations team in New Stanton, PA. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer intern must be able to apply engineering and Lean principles to continuous improvement projects.

Your Day to Day:

• Coordinate and integrate improvement projects which encompass multi-functional areas using Lean and Continuous Improvement Tools and Methodologies.
• Work with Principal Quality Engineers to monitor and document progress and implement changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, share insights, and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
• Support special projects related to continuous improvement and data analysis as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Who You Are:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related discipline
• Knowledge of quality assurance concepts and principles
• Knowledge of lean and continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Strong computer skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
