Senior Electrical Engineer


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Technical lead for the AP1000 Special Monitoring System (SMS) and APR1400 NSSS Integrity Monitoring System (NIMS)
  • Lead a team of engineers to support the entire lifecycle of a project: design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, shipment, plant start-up
  • Lead implementation of field design changes
  • Support sales orders and requests for quotes for operating plant spares
  • Address product obsolescence issues and maintain product lifecycle.
  • Work with business units to provide input for new plant, upgrade, and spares offers.
  • Lead resolution of significant technical issues and travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Interface with internal and external customers
  • Lead product and process improvements
  • Collaborate internally across multiple organizations (business units, supply chain, field services, engineering).


Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience 
  • Experience with leading a team of engineers.
  • Knowledge of I&C hardware design and equipment qualification process
  • Knowledge of National Instruments hardware
  • Strong communication, organization, and delegation skills
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
