Senior Electrical Engineer
Your Day-to-Day:
- Technical lead for the AP1000 Special Monitoring System (SMS) and APR1400 NSSS Integrity Monitoring System (NIMS)
- Lead a team of engineers to support the entire lifecycle of a project: design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, shipment, plant start-up
- Lead implementation of field design changes
- Support sales orders and requests for quotes for operating plant spares
- Address product obsolescence issues and maintain product lifecycle.
- Work with business units to provide input for new plant, upgrade, and spares offers.
- Lead resolution of significant technical issues and travel to customer sites as needed.
- Interface with internal and external customers
- Lead product and process improvements
- Collaborate internally across multiple organizations (business units, supply chain, field services, engineering).
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
- Experience with leading a team of engineers.
- Knowledge of I&C hardware design and equipment qualification process
- Knowledge of National Instruments hardware
- Strong communication, organization, and delegation skills
- Strong technical writing ability
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
