Shop Technician

About the role:

As a Shop Technician I you will perform all operations, which includes but is not limited to cleaning components, running manual machines, and operating stamping presses, with minimal supervision.

You will report to the Area Manager and be located at New Stanton, PA. You will support this roe 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanically inclined
• Read and understand procedures and specifications
• Use basic inspection hand tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
• Servo and or mechanical press operations.
• CNC Operator
• Operation of manual equipment, such as lathes, presses, and cleaning systems.
• Understand machine tool equipment, and machine metal work pieces, tools, or parts.
• Demonstrate the ability to measure machined components accurately.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of drawing interpretation. Demonstrate the ability to change cutting tools.
• Utilize Human Performance tools, which may include but are not limited to performing Peer Check, adopting a Questioning Attitude, engaging in Three Way Communication and conducting Self Check.
• Work under general direction with close guidance in which specific instructions are provided on all new assignments.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum manufacturing experience
• Read, Write, and Speak English.
• Identify specialized education, training, and/or experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $49,534 to $63,440 per year.
