About the role:
As a 3rd Shift Fabrication Supervisor, you will oversee our production operations. You'll guarantee that manufacturing remains a efficient process by overseeing employees and organizing workflows. In a Nuclear MFG environment, the supervisor is a necessary part of the manufacturing process. You should also be able to improve daily activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality.
You will report to the Operations Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this position 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set daily/weekly/monthly goals and communicate them with employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Oversee department safety along with coaching employees
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
- Experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience using multiple types of manufacturing welding and fabrication tools
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
