About the role:

As a Maintenance Mechanic C you will help perform routine repairs on plant equipment and the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Responsible for the change-out and processing of multiple lubricants and cutting fluids in production equipment. Perform a variety of routine and more complex maintenance functions in the plant. Maintain, install, repair, modify and rebuild machinery, buildings, and facilities. Make minor repairs to tools and equipment. Move, install and adjust fixtures, motors, and other electrical/mechanical equipment as requirred

You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this position 100% onsite.

We are NOT looking for an automotive, fabrication or welding background for this opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on electrical and mechanical system(s) within the plant and on production machinery

  • Preventative maintenance and repairs on pneumatic controls for building systems and production machinery

  •  Preventative maintenance and minor repairs on plant machinery and equipment, including hydraulic systems on production machinery.

  • Basic plumbing (waste systems) repairs on building systems are performed

  • Routine maintenance and inspection and repair to wastewater lines for the plant and product testing systems

  • Help with the troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment

  • Help install and debug simple wiring systems such as lighting circuits, power distribution and simple equipment control systems of different kinds

  • Requisition parts and materials

  • General Responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED.

  • Familiarity within an Industrial Maintenance setting

  • Familiarity with LOTO, Confined Space and overhead work

  • Experience with hand tools, portable power tools, protective equipment, shop equipment, power saws, drills or hydraulic presses, milling machines, lathes, band saws, pipe threading machines, ladders, scaffolding, cranes, forklifts, tractors, access platforms, hand and other lift trucks, arc and gas welding and cutting equipment, meters, testers, switches, simple metering devices such as flow meters, metering valves, refractometers and transfer pumps.
