Program Manager & Business Development Lead - Nuclear Decommissioning Lead (Belgium & France)

About the role:
As a Program Manager & Business Development Lead (Belgium and France) you will lead our nuclear decommissioning program in Belgium and expand our presence in the French nuclear industry.
You'll work as an individual contributor reporting to the D&D Director. Due to the scope of the role, you'll be located in Nivelles (Belgium) or Villejust (France) with a Hybrid remote/in-office arrangement. You'll travel between Belgium and France with occasional international trips.
Main Responsibilities:
Program Management (Belgium – Nuclear Decommissioning):
- Oversee the delivery of nuclear decommissioning projects.
- Ensure compliance with national and international nuclear safety and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage budgets, risk assessments, and performance tracking for decommissioning activities.
- Coordinate with technical teams, subcontractors, and government agencies.
- Develop strategies to increase project efficiency and sustainability.
Business Development (France – Nuclear Industry)
- Identify new business opportunities within the French nuclear sector.
- Develop relationships with main clients, government bodies, and industry partners.
- Lead proposals and contract negotiations for nuclear projects in France.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
- Represent us at industry conferences, networking events, and trade fairs.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Nuclear Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years in nuclear decommissioning, energy, or related industries.
- Track record in program management and business development.
- Experience with nuclear regulations in Belgium and France.
- Fluent in English & French
