- If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager for our OMS Major Projects Department, located at our office in Nivelles, Belgium.
- Westinghouse OMS Major Projects Department is a rapidly expanding organization that is facing a wide variety of customer needs indifferent areas of the Europe, Latin America and Asia regions that are currently assigned to the organization. We are leader in the Nuclear Market services for management of complex projects, quality of delivery, machining, welding and NDE field services and focus on supporting our customers in operating their assets as safely and as long as possible.
Key Responsabilities:
- Responsible for all phases in the project management process on low to moderate complexity projects.
- Lead a team, of engineers, operators, planners and procurement officers.
- Support the commercial proposal process for low to moderate complexity projects, as assigned.
- Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Support customer negotiations.
- Use interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion as well as identify opportunities for additional business growth.
- Understand contract requirements to enable successful project implementation.
- Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.
- Identify, Mitigate and Manage risks and opportunities.
- Define jointly with the Technical Lead the schedule and resources plan.
- Maintain good working relationships with the customer.
- Provide technical expertise to support problem resolution / Support site execution.
- Generate ideas for continuous improvement, growth and innovation.
- Willingness to travel to international working sites to obtain
Qualifications:
You have:

- A Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering;
- 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience as project manager leading and directing medium complexity projects to successful completion – alternatively, a background as Technical Lead within projects and having an ambition to develop into Project Management
- Strong interpersonal skills, such as effective verbal and written communications; ability to lead team members; ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment; and ability to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned;
- Knowledge of project scheduling, scope and cost management.
- Language skills, with as a minimum proficiency in the English and French languages
