About the role:
As a dosimetry technician, you will Provide Radiation Protection dosimetry support as required for power-plant activates. In addition to providing dosimetry coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned determined by individual certifications, qualifications, and skills.


You will report to the site manager and be located at multiple nuclear power plants.


Key Responsibilities:
· Meet all applicable requirements to maintain unescorted access

· Safe use and proper operation of applicable equipment

· Use and adhere to station policies and procedures.

· Effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, Supervisors and Sponsors to ensure Safe and Quality job completion for all assignments

· Understand and follow oral and written communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear plant

· Participation in a Basic Radiation Protection Training program


Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED

· Workers must be trained in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.

· Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge

· Competition of GAP training / CIRP Task of the NISP-RP-12 (Nuclear Industry Standard Process)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $20-$30 per hour.
