Opportunity Overview:

Project Management Consultant Level 1 (Project Coordinator)

Contract 1 Year

Palm Beach Gardens, FL - 100% Onsite

Must live within a drivable distance of Palm Beach Gardens, FL since we provide no per diem or relocation.

Your Day-to-Day:

Client's Power Generation Division is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join the Central Maintenance – Special Projects organization. You will have experience in the construction/renewables industry, demonstrated experience in project management, and experience working with different partners across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with and assist a lead Project Manager in different Wind Turbine construction projects and multiple technical/engineering projects. We prefer a technical background (understanding of mechanical/electrical aspects; field construction techniques, equipment).

This company will require travel to projects in the field up to 25%.

Responsibilities:

· Help implement Wind Turbine construction and technical/engineering projects

· Build and upkeep project schedules in Smartsheet

· Engage with outside vendors to determine material availability, execution schedule, and other items

· Meet with team members for ongoing project status updates

· Prepare and host pre-bid/pre-construction meetings

· Travel to projects site to oversee execution of tasks and provide daily reports

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's – Engineering OR relevant field/construction experience

· Experience: 3+ years

· Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

· Proficient in PM Scheduling software (i.e. Smartsheet, Excel)
