Denver, CO-Lipan Distribution Center-Hybrid Role

Your Day-to-Day:
This is a new position within the department focused on managing the purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) process. You will be directly with client's Wildfire program. The contractor will be responsible for processing and approving purchase orders, managing vendors, matching invoices to purchase orders, and supporting reporting related to spending. Deliverables include accurate PR/PO processing, vendor coordination, invoice matching, and contribution to spend and cost reports that differentiate vendor costs across programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
- Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
- Develop project plans and guide project milestones
- Establish communication plan with project team and important partners.
- Provide daily directions to project resources and ensure that the project teams provide themselves with the support that enables them to reach their defined goals.
- Ensure management changes occur throughout the course of the project.
- Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports.
Who You Are:
- Entry-level to early career candidate with approximately 1–3 years of experience.
- We desire project management experience, but we do not require PMP certification.
Preferred Background:
· Utilities or public-sector experience
· Construction project support experience
· Purchasing, planning, or procurement background
· Advanced reporting or data analytics exposure
