A fantastic opportunity just came up for an experienced HR Country Partner to join France HR Team !

 

(The role is located in Orsay but we have a flexible home office policy).

 

 

Responsabilities:

 

Within the EMEA HR Operation team and reporting into the HR EMEA Operation Director, the key missions of the roles are:

 

  • Lead the various Social and Collective Relations dimension (in particular the monthly meetings with the CSE)
  • Guarantee a good social climate
  • Ensure the application and implementation of country specific legislation and global company agreements
  • Deploy all HR processes on his perimeter: NAO, quarterly and annual performance review, yearly merit cycle, training, ...
  • Data integrity through ensuring data quality, timeliness, accuracy and reporting with and through the different HR communities
  • Manage individual and litigation files (disciplinary and procedure)
  • Provide information and individual support for employees,
  • Advice and support for managers in organizational changes, transformations, in daily social management,
  • Support managers on HR topics and associated managerial postures,
  • Work with and through leaders and managers to drive a transformation and a culture of High standard of performance through performance management, coaching, development, and crucial conversations

 

The role is responsible for the development, capability, and competence of the HR department

The role has the accountability to ensure compliance with legislation for staff changes and reductions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

 

  • Implement standards contained in Westinghouse “Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct”. Embed global policy in line with France legislation and compliance requirement
  • Implement Westinghouse organizational goals and priorities
  • Support global and regional HR related initiatives
  • Monitor employee engagement and retention at various sites; proactively bringing local market and competitor intelligence to HR Business partners and local leaders, so appropriate actions are taken
  • Provide operational thought leadership
  • Endorse change management and diversity to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Set-up of effective HR operational services and support the relationship with external vendors
  • Partner and work with and through Works Councils and Trade Union relations
  • Support implementation for various HR programs such as L&D, Performance, etc.
  • Partner with business units to ensure the successful integration of new hires and developing related programs as necessary.
  • Own, create and revise HR policies; serve as expert and interpret policy as needed. Work with Centers of Excellence to deliver key programs and policies
  • Own the HR audit process and respond to all audit requests.
  • Manage our immigration workflow in coordination with immigration law firm working closely with Global Mobility COE.
  • Support the coordination of the merit cycle, global grading and salary surveys within the regions working closely with COE and Finance.
  • Drive best practice and act as counsel to management on all issues of employee performance
  • Works in line with regional/global resources to promote and arrange delivery of training that is directly relevant and beneficial to the operations.
  • Support the coordination of the annual training and development plan and budget
  • Works with and through data to ensure compliance and accuracy in any data input.
  • Ensure local HR interventions are in line with country legislation and requirements, timely and carried out in an effective manner.
  • Understand and promote the safety culture in the company by placing safety as a top priority.
  • Responsible for keeping company’s property and assets; for the credibility of the information provided in the reporting documentation.
  • Perform other specific assignments pertaining to the job position.

 

Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience
