We are searching for an Accountant, Assoc on behalf of our client.  This is a 1 yr. contract assignment.  The person who can perform accounts payable role, who has SAP experience and would be able to post NON-PO invoices.
 

Location:  Houston, TX. downtown

 

Some key responsibilities include:
•  Process high volume of invoices non-PO in SAP.
•  Maintain high level of data integrity by consistently updating vendor information in the system accurately.
•  Respond to all vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and check requests.
•  Maintain good communication with vendors and upper management.
•  Assist Finance and Accounting Team with month-end closing.
•  Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries.
•  SAP knowledge a must.
•  Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•  Detailed-oriented person with strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:

  • High School required
    Some college preferred
  • Experience:  1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
