Accountant, Sr

We are searching for an Accountant, Sr  on behalf of our client. This is a 3-month contract assignment. (W2) 

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

This is a 3-month contract assignment. (W-2).

Pay rate: $54.00/hr.                  

• Pension and Employee Benefits: Manage accounting for Company Pension/Post Retirement/SERP benefits, Medical and ERP/Severance expenses. This includes monthly reconciliations, journal entries (monthly, quarterly, and annually), preparing quarterly and annual disclosures, and communicating with HR Benefits and Medical teams to resolve issues and exchange information, particularly during quarter-end and year-end.

• Special Use Funds : Record monthly and quarterly earnings for the Special Use Funds (Nuclear Decommissioning and Storm Fund). Prepare quarterly and annual disclosures, perform monthly account reconciliations, and communicate with the trustee (BNYM Bank) to address reporting issues.

• Special Use Funds (NEER): Ensure accurate recording of OCI, Proceeds, and fee accrual entries. Prepare quarterly and annual disclosures.

• Investments: Receive capital statements from investments and record Equity in Earnings, maintain the Investments Summary and reconcile Capital Statements to the general ledger. Coordinate wire transfers for the NEI team, run monthly investment reports for Forecast and Cash Flow teams, and review investment agreements to recommend appropriate accounting treatments.
