Associate Business Process Analyst

About the role:

Assoicate Business Process Analyst

Duration: 12 months

Location: Petersburg, VA

Site: Chester

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications in order to create more efficient operations.
• Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit
• Conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety, develop business cases to support recommendations.
• Monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.
• Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.
• Perform routine work assignments but over time will demonstrate the ability to perform more difficult work assignments.
• Work under established policies and procedures to meet set schedules and system or program requirements continues to develop the skills to reach a higher level of proficiency and work complexity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration but willing to accept Associates' degree with experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a directly related field.
• Ability to facilitate and work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.
• Strong customer service orientation
