We are searching for a Financial Analyst, Sr. for a 1 yr. contract assignment. The person will be responsible for prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance under Investment Recovery Act (IRA). The person must have experience with contract compliance, federal labor laws, prevailing wage auditing, and apprenticeship requirements.  With the IRA bill, they were able to capture tax credits on their projects, but the person would have to follow certain prevailing wage and apprenticeship labor requirements. This individual would be responsible for ensuring our construction contractors are following these requirements.

 

 

Location:  Juno Beach, FL.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and conduct complex analysis of financial impacts of issues and specific decisions facing the company & proposes strategies that maximize the company's financial performance.
  • Analyze the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity and competitive position of relevant environmental and/or business issues facing the company.
  • Evaluate the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity and competitive position of all strategic and tactical resource allocation plans.
  • Understands financial and accounting systems and concepts, credit analysis and solves problems.
  • May make recommendations on short- and long-term financing decisions, interfaces w/ Regulatory, Finance and Accounting areas of the company.
  • Serves as a mentor and guide to others.
  • Handles varied and complex projects & tasks.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or other technical field required.
  • MBA, CPA, or other relevant graduate degree highly desirable.
  • 6 or more years of utility or other relevant experience required.
