Financial Analyst, Sr

We are searching for a Financial Analyst, Sr for a 6-month contract assignment.  The person in this role will be identifying and conduct complex analysis of financial impacts of issues and specific decisions facing the company & proposes strategies that maximize the company's financial performance. Looking for Sr Financial Analyst to help manage the ETRM Project budget, with 6 or more years of experience and prior budget and vendor management experience.

Location:  Juno Beach, FL

Responsibilities

• May make recommendations on short- and long-term financing decisions, interfaces w/ Regulatory, Finance and Accounting areas of the company. Serves as a mentor and guide to others. Handles varied and complex projects & tasks.
• Evaluate the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity and competitive position of all strategic and tactical resource allocation plans.
• Understands financial and accounting systems and concepts, credit analysis and solves problems.
• Analyze the impact on the financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position of relevant environmental and/or business issues facing the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other technical field required.
• MBA, CPA, or other relevant graduate degree highly desirable.
• Experience in managing project budget greater than $20MM
• 6 or more years of utility or other relevant experience required.
