We are searching for an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer on behalf of our client.  This is a 1 yr. contract assignment.   In this position, the person will act as the crucial technical interface with engineering firms during various project developments. Your duties will also include preparing and reviewing engineering documents, ensuring they meet all necessary industry, nuclear, and regulatory standards.

 

The nature of the projects varies from minor digital software adjustments to extensive I&C systems upgrades requiring prior NRC approval. Familiarity with I&C systems such as ladder logic, analog/digital systems, and power systems analysis is highly desired.

 

Location:  Remote

This is a 1 yr. contract assignment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 4+ years of related work experience           
  • Experience working with instrumentation and control systems such as ladder logic, analog/digital systems, power system analysis, and computational tools is preferential but optional.
  • Similarly, experience as a cognizant engineer or in engineering project management will be valued.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Mentoring new engineers will be required
