QA/QC Electrical Inspector

We are seeking a remote QA/QC Electrical Inspector to perform inspections and quality assurance checks, to ensure electrical components such as Inverters, Substations, distribution systems are built in accordance with Engineering drawings and specifications. This to include but not limited to, foundations, steel erection, bus work installation, grounding systems, below grade and above grade conduit runs, control wiring/fiber optic installation and equipment testing.  This is a 1+ year contract assignment.

Location: Juno Beach/Remote

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• QA/QC electrical installation work from collection to substation 
• Review LOTO and energization plans 
• Coordinated testing requirements with vendor and owner before energization and commercial operation.   
• Performed Safety inspections, audits and ensured tailgates are conducted daily  
• Experience with Battery Storage or Substation would be preferable but not necessary.

Qualifications / Education / Experience:

• Electrical background.
• Computer skills especially in the use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and ability to manage files and records effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.
• Well skilled in quality processes.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality control standards
• Possess problem-solving skills.
