QA/QC Manager

We are searching for QA/QC Manager for a 1+ year contract assignment.  This person will be responsible for working as a QA/QC manager for the NSP region; overseeing multiple projects to ensure that the quality program has applicable documentation in place. This documentation is to be reviewed and completed for each project.

Each project will require a project management plan. There is a specific section in that plan that that this resource has the responsibility to review. Within that plan, the manager will have to sign off and approve that we also have project quality plans. The person will be responsible for reviewing this with the project manager and project lead. The manager will also work on nonconformance reporting should a vendor provide a material specification or time.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

• This person will then be responsible for verifying that they are filled out correctly by that vendors and would then be responsible for providing a root cause analysis.

• The manager would be primarily in the field to review documentation from projects with the project manager/leads.
• The manager/leads will assist this resource in setting up their quality requirements that the vendors provide to them. This resource will be responsible for ensuring that these quality requirements are adhered to.  
• This role will be doing audits, paperwork based and will be responsible for ensuring that establishing and following the committed test plan and submitting supporting documentation.
• Facilitating and supporting the project managers to compile/execute non conformance reports to ensure that should a deviation arise; complying with rules for a resolution.
• Client does utilize a lot of vendors, therefore, the manager may be responsible for vendor inspections/audits. They will be responsible for reviewing vendor documentation to review their quality program to ensure that it is aligned with the Energy standards.

Requirements:

• 10 years prior knowledge/understanding of fundamental quality procedures/processes with a QA/QC background.
• Must also be safety minded/driven.
• Previous utility experience is not required, but strongly preferred.
• Targeting industrial commercial oil/gas background.
• Previous experience in a large/matrixed organization would be very helpful.
• Firm understanding of how a quality program works.
• Must have high proficiency in with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Preferred experience with ProCore software.
