Salesforce Business Analyst

We are searching for a Salesforce Business Analyst on behalf of our client.  This is a 5-month contract assignment.   The person will be gathering information and doing analysis. Conduct requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end-users.  Analyze business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements. Prioritize requirements based on business value and technical feasibility.

Duties and Responsibilities


Solution Design and Documentation

  • Design and document Salesforce solutions aligned with requirements and best practices.
  • Create process flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on proposed solutions.


Salesforce Configuration and Customization

  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce governance and security standards.


User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with end-users.
  • Document and track defects and issues identified during testing.
  • Ensure all requirements are met and validated before go-live.


Training and Change Management

  • Develop training materials, including user guides and training videos.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with change management teams to ensure successful adoption.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Analyze system usage and performance metrics.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new Salesforce functionalities.


Project Management Support

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates.
  • Manage project documentation and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.

3 to 5 years related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
