Your Day-to-Day: 

Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the Nuclear Fleet Subsequent License Renewal Project.

 

Project Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership and comprehensive project management for the Fleet Subsequent License Renewal Project.
  • Develop and implement detailed project management plans, encompassing goals, deliverables, risk management strategies, and comprehensive resource planning.
  • Ensure project governance structures are established and adhered to, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards.

Budget Management:

  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor project expenditures closely, ensuring strict budget adherence and proactively addressing any financial discrepancies.
  • Generate regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Scheduling:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules to ensure all timelines and milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate scheduling conflicts.
  • Utilize project management tools to monitor timeline adherence and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate any changes or delays.

Field Implementation Oversight:

  • Oversee all field implementation activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, promptly resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance to field teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project updates, status reports, and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure project success.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks continuously, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project objectives are met without compromise.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update mitigation plans accordingly.

 

 

Who You Are:

 

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the energy or power generation industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Comprehensive experience managing large-scale projects, with a focus on fleet operations and license renewals.
  • Strong financial acumen and proven experience in budget creation, management, and cost control.
  • Expert-level organizational and scheduling skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing field implementation, including site management and safety compliance.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
