About the role:
As a Field Services Technician in the position of Acquisition Agent, you will manage operational activities safely by following established procedures.
The Steam Generators Department will assign you and you will perform operational activities related to PIGVP and REPTAR projects.
You will report hierarchically to the Operations Manager, while functionally working under the supervision of the Project Manager, Intervention Manager, or Team Leader.
You will work on nuclear power plant sites in France, with opportunities to contribute to Westinghouse projects in other regions of France and abroad. You will be home-based, but your role requires full-time travel to sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote Westinghouse values.
- Demonstrate knowledge and strict application of Westinghouse requirements innuclear safety, radiation protection, environment, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones.
- Work within diverse teams while maintaining clear and safe communication practices.
- Maintain a questioning attitude and manage deviations following procedures.
- Perform daily equipment preparation activities at headquarters before inspections.
- Implement daily inspection and repair activities on-site in nuclear power plants, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Report any deviations in real-time upon discovery.
- Develop lessons learned (feedback/REX) to support continuous improvement between outages.
Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge in mechanics or electrical engineering
- Technical interest / willingness to travel worldwide and work in a multicultural environment
- Bachelor's degree (2–3 years higher education: BTS/DUT or Licence/BUT equivalent)
- 1+ year of professional experience
- Certifications: SCN, RP, CSQ
- Skills: Office tools, Mechanics, Electricity, and Electromechanics
