Job Responsibilities:

 

You will report to the Operations Manager based in Villejust, within the ELA (Europe Latina America) / Inspection Services department.

You will learn to carry out Non Destructive inspection activities.

 

Depending on the profile missions can be :

 

- Interventions that take place at NPP (Nuclear Power Plants) sites in France or Europe (in contaminated area),

- NDT maintenance at Nivelles (Belgium) site,

- Office work (such as development and qualification of new tools with an Inspection Engineer

 

You will travel to French nuclear sites approximately 60% of the time, with occasional work abroad and office work.

 

Also, depending on the profile work at Cadarache facility may happen. 

 

Depending on your skills and interests, you may also develop leadership competencies (supervisor profile). 

 

Your skills in NDT inspections (Ultrasonic, Visual, Advance UT) will allow you to perform either acquisition (automatized or not) or analysis mission. 

 

Potential career evolution depending on your skills, performance, and experience: - NDT supervisor - Site Lead - Project Manager 

 

Examples of tasks you may perform on CNPE or international sites: 

 

> Inspection of the UT baffle bolts (France / Europe / Asia),

> UT inspection of Steam Generator (Italy), 

> UT & ET Non‑destructive examination of vessel head penetrations (France)

> PAUT Inspection of Vacuum Vessel Splice Plate (France)

 

Desired Profile:

 

A Bac+2 level diploma in non destructive testing (NDT).

 

At least a UT Level 2 is required (according to COFREND or ISO 9712) if possible with a knowledge in PAUT.

 

A second method (preferably surfacique method such as VT2 or PT2) would be appreciated. A good level of English is required to collaborate and grow within our internationally present group.

 

You are autonomous, and a strong team player, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at different levels. 

 

A valid driver's license (category B) is mandatory.
