Main Mission
The Planning Officer is responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of operational staff, in collaboration with project managers, operational managers, and support services, to ensure smooth execution of on-site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update project structures and the planning database in the ERP system (SAP).
- Schedule operational resources according to required qualifications and certifications; propose replacement solutions when needed.
- Ensure access rights for all employees involved in the projects.
- Review, complete, and distribute mission orders.
- Manage experience reports to support qualification extensions in the ERP.
- Enter and monitor purchase requests in the ERP related to operational subcontracting.
- Participate in and/or lead planning meetings with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Autonomy
- Ensure access and presence of qualified resources on site.
- Keep planning information in the ERP up to date.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, analyze them, and propose appropriate solutions when necessary.
Working Relationships
- Hierarchical: Reports to the Training and Planning Manager.
- Functional: Collaborates with project managers, operational managers, several departments : technical training, EHS, HR, supply chain, marketing and European planning officers.
- External: Works closely with subcontractors and may interact directly with clients to confirm access requirements.
Profile Required
- Degree (Bac +2/3) in planning, logistics, or scheduling and/or relevant experience in planning management.
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, MS 365).
- Familiarity with SAP environment (a plus).
- Comfortable with English (written and spoken).
Soft Skills:
- Internal client orientation (towards operations)
- Organizational skills, anticipation, adaptability
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with various stakeholders (within the team, company, and externally)
