    General Job Function:

OMS ELA Steam Generator platform is leading services serving customers inside ELA region. Safety, Quality, Performance and Growth/profitability are expectations for both the customers and internally. To respond to such priorities, initiatives are defined and set-up properly in accordance with Westinghouse processes.

SG products group is leading the roadmap to achieve these objectives within the ELA region. Within the SG products group, this position includes a dual role:

  • The project engineer’s role is to participate in the design, development, qualification of new process and well as in the continuous improvement of existing maintenance processes
  • the project manager’s role is to manage his projects according to Westinghouse standards to achieve projects KPI, support continuous improvements, growth, new idea generation/innovation projects and provide technical expertise to the operation teams.

 

Duties and Responsabilities :

 

For the Project Engineer role:

  • Participate to RFQ proposal
  • Identify technical requirements of projects
  • Draft detailed design and procurement specifications
  • Contribute to equipment and process developments
  • Draft technical documentation
  • Participate to development testing and draft associated report
  • Inform the project manager of the progress and difficulties of the development activities
  • Attend team and project meetings
  • Apply Westinghouse process and procedures 

 

For the project manager role:

  • Coordinate, Manage and Follow project execution complying with Westinghouse’s project management procedures,
    • Identify, Mitigate and Manage risks and opportunities,
    • Lead Contract management (i.e. compliance, claim management, change management,…)
    • Lead monthly project review,
    • Define jointly with the Lead Engineer the schedule, the resources plan, the financial estimates and the risks register,
    • If any, define jointly with the Lead Engineer the sourcing plan,
    • Update schedule, resources demands and risks register,
    • Update financial data in enterprise database,
    • Approve time and expenses of the project,
  • Elaborate the project Lessons Learn.
  • Coordinate technical expertise to support problem resolution and support site execution
  • Generate ideas for continuous improvement, growth and innovation,

     

  • Participate to site execution of First of a Kind (FOAK)

  • During a training period, attend services on site to understand the constraints of the Steam Generator maintenance activities

 

For both roles:

  • Generate ideas for continuous improvement, growth and innovation,
  • Participate to site execution of First of a Kind (FOAK)
  • During a training period, attend services on site to understand the constraints of the Steam Generator maintenance activities
  • Occasional travelling according to project needs

 

  Education Level :

Master Degree with an automatism / electronic speciality

Competencies in:

  • Software Designing and Programming (C++)
  • Motor control
  • Ethernet and communication protocol
  • Automation & Robotics
  •  

Years of Experience:

2 years in a project manager/project engineer position. Experience in the nuclear field is a value added.

 

Skills and Competencies

 Fluent in French + good level of English

 Project Management and Technical interest oriented
