Your Day-to-Day:
- Responsible for all phases in the project management process on low to moderate complexity projects within the business area Engineered Solutions. This covers projects supporting safe and efficient operation of existing French Nuclear Power Plants.
- Lead small sized team, which may include project controls.
- Support proposal process for low to moderate complexity projects, as assigned.
- Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications. Support customer negotiations.
- Use interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion as well as identify opportunities for additional business growth.
- Understand contract requirements to enable successful project implementation.
- Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.
- Maintain good working relationships with the customer.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required; Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
- Experience as project manager leading and directing low complexity projects to successful completion – alternatively a background as Technical Lead within projects and having an ambition to develop into Project Management
- Strong interpersonal skills, such as effective verbal and written communications; ability to lead team members; ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and ability to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned
- Knowledge of project scheduling and cost management.
