General Mission

 

The Product Manager has a direct impact on company results by maximizing profitability, supporting both the development of new products based on market needs, the implementation of on-site projects, and product sustainability. The Product Manager actively supports the Project Manager (or Program Manager) during the daily execution of developments in accordance with requirements, to ensure optimal results for the assigned products and services.

 

Key Activities

 

- Anticipate Market needs and determine technical positioning

- Define, develop, and implement new products, processes, and standards that impact safety, quality, planning, and financial results of on-site operations

- Ensure alignment of resources with business needs

- Coordinate and develop multi-disciplinary technical teams to deliver services

- Responsible for budgets related to their activities

- Define innovation and investment orientations

- Execute technical solution development and qualification actions

- Track market opportunities and execute growth actions for the perimeter

- Support on-site operations during issues and lead improvement plans and technical issue resolution

- Lead the development of technical offers for customers

- Ensure implementation and compliance with standardization within the product & technology group

 

Responsibilities and Scope of Action

 

- Responsible for safety, quality, and financial results of technical solution development and qualification projects

- Manage a team of 10–20+ engineers, technicians, and project managers to deliver technical and engineering services & support operations

- Develop and implement new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that impact functional results

- Joint responsibility with operations management for safety, quality, and financial results of on-site projects through equipment performance/reliability and sustaining/amortization impacts

- Monitor market opportunities and execute growth actions

- Ensure implementation and compliance with standardization within the product & technology group

- Communicate with senior leadership

- Periodic reviews with direct manager (N+1)

 

Working Relationships

 

Reports hierarchically to the Senior Product Manager or Director. Manages individual contributors, and may supervise a group leader. Works closely with operations groups, other product groups, US counterparts, commercial teams, and support functions (procurement, quality, HR, EPMO, sales, global market). Acts as a key technical solutions contact for strategic matters and complex negotiations with customers.

 

Core Competencies

 

- Master's degree in engineering or related field

- 10 / 15 years of experience in service delivery or engineering

- In-depth knowledge of nuclear services and understanding of strategic and commercial drivers

- Understanding of business and financial processes

- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies

- Experience in planning, project management and direct management team requested

- Understanding of processes and developments for nuclear installations

- Ability to communicate in English( TOEIC )

 

Problem Solving

 

Use creative planning and resource management skills to address complex issues involving scheduling, skill selection, costs, and staffing. Develop methods to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and ensure commitments related to personnel and equipment are met, sometimes with very short notice. Resolve resource conflicts in a way that maintains customer satisfaction and optimizes business volume.

 

Persuasion

 

Negotiation and persuasion skills to secure projects internally and externally. Ability to work cross-functionally, resolve resource conflicts, motivate teams to work efficiently, adapt to evolving demands, and improve personnel performance through feedback and performance improvement techniques.
