About the role:
As a Senior Director, EMEA ICS, you will increase Westinghouse's enterprise value. You will achieve this by identifying business viability, delivering on existing commitments, and creating growth for the EMEA Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) portfolio. This will involve working with Westinghouse teams and customers through strategic planning, business development, and teaming across Westinghouse. The goal is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that establish customer relationships. These relationships are crucial to identifying current and potential new products that can improve operating plants' long-term operation and asset management strategies.
You will report to the President, Instrumentation and Controls.
Location: Europe.
Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) system solutions to meet customer needs. These solutions will operate under new and different operating models that improve customers' operating economics and profitability. The goal is to increase Westinghouse's market participation in this market.
- Implement growth-focused service delivery model(s) to profitably ensure WECs participation.
- Be a trusted partner to our customers' senior leadership teams to develop customized solutions.
- Create incremental profitable growth for WEC in Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) solutions.
- Lead and provide oversight to internal and external organizations to build the necessary teams to implement customer solutions.
- Lead product marketing strategies definition used to provide new Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) solutions to existing and unestablished customers.
- Lead the customer interface, oversight and be accountable for the safe delivery of regional ICS projects, meeting high quality, schedule, cost and profitability.
- Improve organizational performance with focus on meeting business plan goals.
- Lead and influence a matrixed team of account team, engineering organization in developing Instrumentation & Control Systems (ICS) strategy and product planning.
- Use industry expertise, commercial insight, and strategic customer relationships to drive market leadership and business growth for Westinghouse's Instrumentation and Control Systems (ICS) solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related education, MBA Preferred
- 20+ years of relevant experience
- 10+ years in a leadership role with market growth responsibility and project execution oversight with delivery responsibility
- Experience evaluating business opportunities, risks, and financial impacts to support strategic decision-making.
- Strategic planning experience.
- Expertise in influencing senior partners and securing agreement on main decisions, priorities and goals.
- Experience engaging and presenting to executive leadership.
- Experience building and maintaining executive-level relationships across internal leadership teams, customers, and utility partners.
- In-depth financial and economic knowledge of power generation industry.
This position may be based in multiple European countries. Compensation is location-specific and will be determined in accordance with local market conditions, internal equity, and the candidate's qualifications. For positions based in countries with pay transparency requirements, the applicable salary range will be provided in accordance with local legislation.
