About the role:

As a Senior Project Engineer for new projects, you will support AP1000 Poland Project Engineering organization . You will engage on a vast set of nuclear power plant design topics in support to Westinghouse International new build market development and capture. The AP1000 Poland Project Engineering department includes both US-based and Europe-based groups. The groups work together to deliver the missions of the department.

You will report to the Component, Structures, and Construction Integration Project Engineering Manager (PEM). You will be hybrid based in one of the European offices or one of the US offices (CW or RockHill).

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen Nuclear safety Culture Traits and Human Performance tools
  • Support engineering documentation update and Release Document List update and creation
  • Support coordination on Engineering documentation finalization for Long and Medium Lead Components.
  • Contribute to Engineering fabrication follow and shop drawing review process
  • Coordinate Engineering review and support to supplier during procurement RfQ and fabrication
  • Support bid and proposal efforts by working cross functionally with the engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in leading efforts to support Engineering Contract and beyond, for New Build Project milestones
  • Guide decision making that meets project technical, commercial, and schedule needs with a focus on the area of supply chain and Long Lead/Medium Lead equipment

Qualifications:

  • 5 or 8+ years' project engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years Engineering including component fabrication, procurement or engineering integration
