Project Summary:

Develop passive sensor to wirelessly transmit temperature and pressure information from the interior of a commercial spent fuel dry cask.

 

Student Role/Expectations:

Student will assist with PCB layout and design of custom transceiver electronics, environmental testing and data analysis.

Electrical Engineering

Material Science Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Nuclear Engineering

 

Work Location:

Churchill, PA – mainly in person, with occasional remote work
