Site Communications Partner

Your Day to Day:

• Collaborate with multiple categories of internal and external audiences and stakeholders to deploy the site communications strategy, and support national and global activity.
• Manage the communications strategy for the Springfields site including lead partner in delivering press, social media and internal employee communications.
• Work with the Site Leadership Team, Corporate Communications and key site stakeholder groups to co-ordinate all internal and external communication activities.
• Lead local activities to represent the Springfields site with key stakeholder groups to promote the nuclear agenda. 
• Advise and support other regional Westinghouse business activity for in stance in Cumbria.
• Support national and global Government Affairs and Public Relations activity.

Required to be successful in the role:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent), degree in comminications preferred
• Experience in public relations/communications required.   
• High level proficiency in communication and presentation skills.   Use of social media, press releases, internal communications.
• Effective oral and written communications, including to senior corporate executives
• Ability to establish effective networks across functional and with key external stakeholders including government, local government, community leaders and trade union representatives.
• Ability to influence different thinking across the organization and challenge the status quo in a constructive and collaborative way
