ERP Business Analyst - Temp to Hire

Issaquah, WA-Remote

 Your Day-to-Day:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ERP Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and optimizing ERP systems, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces and organizational structures.

 

Primary Duties

 

  • User Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary contact for support, troubleshoot issues in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) reported through ServiceNow, and provide timely resolution to end-user requests and incidents to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Bug and Incident Management: Identify, report, and prioritize bugs using DevOps, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of fixes.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document test scripts, use cases, procedures, and best practices, and share knowledge with the users by developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and technical documentation for common issues.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing and capture all test results to verify that new features and bug fixes do not cause unintended side effects or disrupt existing functionality within D365 F&O.
  • Automated Testing: Utilize Test Mart or similar tool to create and execute automated tests for validating software functionality before any new releases. 
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business processes and requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyzes and optimizes the inter-relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces and organizational structures. Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, recommending enhancements as needed.

 

Working Relationships

The position reports to the ERP Product Manager and will interface with:

  • IT Program Manager
  • Sr ERP Solutions Engineer
  • ERP Software Engineer
  • BI team
  • Business SMEs and Process Owners
  • Heads of various lines of business
  • Heads of functions

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical, finance or problem-solving field
  • Must have experience (2-4 years) delivering business solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and streamline processes and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships at all levels of the organization and with outside vendors and contractors
  • Knowledge of NAES operations and finance business processes
  • Experience in Energy or services related industry, preferred
  • Experience with a co-sourced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), preferred

  • Solid awareness or direct experience with Microsoft D365 F&O.
  • Ability to identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical teams
