Metering Technician

Westinghouse is seeking a Metering Technician for a 12+ month project supporting our Nuclear Client in Gastonia, NC.

Job Description:
This an entry level position which will Safety Perform various function relating to the inspection, repair and shorting of Gas meter and automated meter reading devices(AMR)
Based on assigned location, duties including but not limited to:
Learn and apply different meter repair code for residential, commercial and industrial meter repair and participate in hands on training residential meter repair and AMR calibration.
This will include sorting and classifying meter and regulators repair.
Learn to recognize and applies knowledge of different meter and regulators that client purchases including learning a manufacture name applicable client Energy number.
Follow all established Safety and Environment Guidelines and Policew to ensure safety.
This will include wearing the proper assigned Personal Protective Equipment(PPE)
