Nuclear Procedures Writer III

Westinghouse is seeking a Nuclear Procedures Writer for a 12+ month project supporting our nuclear client in Surry, VA

Top Required Skills
1) Experience within the last 6-12 months writing operations, engineering, or maintenance procedures for nuclear power plants
2) Must have hands on experience in the last 6-12 months of having made changes to procedures themselves in formatting software
3) Experienced and proficient in the use of FrameMaker and Documentum/DocMan/DocEM software – 2+ years' experience preferred
4) Experienced and proficient in the Adobe, including performing mark-ups, distilling, and use of AdobeSign for routing signatures.

o Strong communication skills both verbal and written
o Self-motivated and high level of organizational skills (ability to drive reviews and procedure issues to completion)
o Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:
o PPA certification
o 10CFR50.59 Applicability Review/Screen qualification
o Former nuclear operations (RO/SRO) or nuclear maintenance shop experience

• Preferred Years of Experience:
o 10+ years of writing technical procedures or 5+ years with either a nuclear operations or maintenance background.

High Level Project Overview:
o Supporting Station Procedures Department for Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) design changes.
Responsibilities:
o Marking up / revising procedures associated with SLR design changes.
