The Lead Financial Analyst will perform lead analysis responsibilities for both our Global Operating Services (GOS) Engineering Services and Digital & Innovation segments. Reporting directly to the Controller of GOS Engineering Services and I&C with dot line matrix to the GOS Finance Manager of FP&A. This is a US ONLY Remote or Mobile role.
Your Day to Day:
- Provide daily financial support to the finance manager and operational staffs of both organizations
- Lead preparation, development, and delivery of the annual 5-year business plan
- Interact with GOS leadership & Business Unit finance and operational teams to develop a comprehensive integrated business planning process
- Lead preparation and review of cost center budgets and SAP labor rates
- Deliver operational reports to support review and analysis of cost center spend, resource utilization, missing time, and composite rates
- Lead monthly closing, forecasting and reporting deliverables for both organizations. This includes preparation of journal entries, analyzing financial results, analysis of key variances and business trends, recommending forecast changes to management, and delivery of senior management reports to support monthly review of financial performance.
- Identify and communicate ongoing balance of year risk and opportunities to business plan and financial forecast
- Lead preparation of capital budgets and administer actual capital spend including preparation of asset e-order and capitalization request and quarterly impairment analysis
- Support execution and tracking of cost savings initiatives
- Partner with HR to ensure integrity of employee cost center attributes
- Present financial results at operational staff meetings
- Directly support finance and operational leadership of both organizations with adhoc initiatives
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- 5+ years experience in similar corporate accounting or FP&A roles
- Proficiency in reporting systems and MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytics skills for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
