Senior Accountant (Remote Opportunity)

Your Day to Day:

• Monthly close - journal entries, analysis of accounts, monitoring the close calendar ensuring all systems and activities are closed according to the deadlines.
• Reconciliation and review of all balance sheet accounts.
• Fixed Asset Accounting - accruals, managing of balances and reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable processing and cash disbursement posting. Coding of all invoices in accordance with FAR.
• Accounts Receivable - Client invoicing and cash application.
• Prepaid Amortization and review.
• Payroll Accounting – posting of weekly time and monthly payroll
• Intercompany Accounting – posting of IC invoices and reconciling balances with corporate.
• Revenue recognition – T&M and POC revenue recognition.
• Assist with ICE (incurred cost submissions) and associated audits.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
• 5 - 7+ years relevant government experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAR and CAS and comprehensive knowledge of GAAP preferred.
  • Deltek/Costpoint accounting system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Intermediate to expert excel skills preferred.
