About the role:
As a Company Doctor you will program and manage the activity of occupational medicine and health surveillance of the personnel working at the sites of companies in Spain and in nuclear facilities where projects are carried out.
Through specialized medical surveillance and strict compliance with national and international regulations applicable to the nuclear sector, within the Joint Prevention Service.
You will report to the Senior Manager, QEHS Spain and be located at Madrid HQ.
Flexible Full-Time Schedule. Candidates requiring part time schedule will be considered.

Main Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Westinghouse 's Joint Prevention Service and customers to ensure staff health surveillance.

Perform periodic medical examinations and access exams, including specific tests for work with exposure to ionizing radiation (general examination, audiometry, spirometry, blood tests, visual acuity).

To assess the medical fitness for work in customers' own sites and nuclear facilities following the applicable regulations.

Manage occupational medical records and medical records following regulatory standards (CSN, European regulations, client requirements) in corporate systems.

Help investigate incidents and accidents and propose preventive measures, collaborate with mutual insurance companies, and monitor the injured worker.

Attend to medical consultations and basic emergencies in the work environment.

Collaborate in the development of health surveillance programs and preventive campaigns (medical protocols for each workplace, stress control, ergonomics, vaccination, and contaminant surveillance).

Collaborate in the preparation of the Occupational Medicine Activity Reports.

Manage the Medical Service work team: nursing and administrative staff.

To collaborate in ensuring the necessary provision of material and human resources for the Basic Health Units.

Collaborate in the development of medical emergency plans in the work context and support the External Emergency Committee in the event of pandemics, epidemics or other external health-related events
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Medicine with a speciality in Occupational Medicine or equivalent accreditation (essential).

Professional Membership: compulsory and in force.

5 + years in occupational health in industrial or nuclear environments, mutual insurance companies or prevention services.

Knowledge:
-
Regulations on occupational risk prevention, ergonomics, toxicology, epidemiology and first aid.

Specific legislation for the nuclear sector (CSN, IAEA, EURATOM).

Protocols for action in the event of exposure to ionizing radiation.

Propósito del puesto
Programar y llevar a cabo la actividad de medicina del trabajo y vigilancia de la salud del personal que trabaja en los centros de trabajo de las empresas en España y en instalaciones nucleares donde se desempeñan proyectos, mediante la vigilancia médica especializada y el cumplimiento estricto de la normativa nacional e internacional aplicable al sector nuclear, dentro del Servicio de Prevención Mancomunado.
Responsabilidades principales
- Colaborar con el Servicio de Prevención Mancomunado de Westinghouse y de los clientes para garantizar la vigilancia de la salud del personal.
- Realizar exámenes médicos periódicos y de ingreso, incluyendo pruebas específicas para trabajos con exposición a radiaciones ionizantes (reconocimiento general, audiometrías, espirometrías, analíticas, agudeza visual…).
- Evaluar la aptitud médica para trabajos en centros propios e instalaciones nucleares de los clientes según la normativa aplicable.
- Gestionar y mantener historias clínicas laborales y registros médicos conforme a estándares regulatorios (CSN, normativa europea, requisitos clientes) en los sistemas corporativos.
- Participar en la investigación de incidentes y accidentes y proponer medidas preventivas, colaborar con las mutuas, seguimiento del accidentado.
- Atender consultas médicas y urgencias básicas en el entorno laboral.
- Colaborar en la elaboración e implementación de programas de vigilancia de la salud y campañas preventivas específicas (protocolos médicos para cada puesto de trabajo, control de estrés, ergonomía, vacunación, vigilancia de contaminantes).
- Colaborar en la realización de las Memorias de Actividad de Medicina del Trabajo.
- Gestión del equipo de trabajo del Servicio Médico: personal de enfermería y administración.
- Colaborar en asegurar la dotación necesaria se recursos materiales y humanos de las Unidades Básicas de Salud.
- Colaborar en la elaboración de planes de emergencia médica en el contexto laboral y apoyar al Comité de Emergencias Externas ante pandemias, epidemias u otros eventos externos relacionados con la salud
Requisitos del puesto
- Formación: Licenciatura/Grado en Medicina con especialidad en Medicina del Trabajo o acreditación equivalente (imprescindible).
- Colegiación: obligatoria y en vigor.
- Experiencia: Mínimo 3 años en salud laboral, preferiblemente en entornos industriales o nucleares, mutuas o servicios de prevención.
- Conocimientos:
- Normativa de prevención de riesgos laborales, ergonomía, toxicología, epidemiología y primeros auxilios.
- Legislación específica del sector nuclear (CSN, OIEA, EURATOM).
- Protocolos de actuación ante exposición a radiaciones ionizantes.
- Competencias: Comunicación efectiva, toma de decisiones bajo presión, trabajo en equipo, confidencialidad, orientación al servicio.
