About the role:

As a Director Apx Project Controls EMEA, you will provide project controls leadership and oversight for the portfolio of EMEA APX projects, including Poland AP1000, Bulgaria AP1000, and Dukovany APR1000.

You will also support development opportunities in EMEA during Feasibility Studies, FEED Studies, and early Engineering Services works.

You will report to the Portfolio Director and be located at any Westinghouse EMEA office.

Hybrid work schedule.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide the APX Program and Portfolio Director EMEA an overall portfolio cost and schedule baseline across the EMEA portfolio of APX Projects.
  • Monitor overall cost and schedule performance , including tracking changes and trend impacts on projects and the business plan.
  • Ensure schedule, cost, risk, and performance transparency for EMEA Portfolio, including narrative reporting for Operations, Finance and SIOP.
  • Projects (ESC, EDA, EPC phases): Support EMEA APX Project Directors through their individual Project Controls Managers in developing project specific cost and schedule baselines and monitoring performance against those baselines.
  • Ensure an approach following SOPs and governance requirements.
  • Projects (EWA/FEED Phase): Support the APX Portfolio Director EMEA for pre-ESC development projects in developing project specific cost and schedule baselines and monitoring of performance against those baselines.
  • Opportunities: Support proposal teams for AP1000 development opportunities in developing scope, schedule and cost for potential new AP1000 reactor projects.
  • Work with Project Delivery functional APX Project Controls leadership to ensure that needed expertise and numbers of resources are available to support the portfolio of EMEA APX projects in execution of scope within the agreed schedule.
  • Work with functional APX Project Controls leadership to develop standardized approaches (SOPs) to project controls and implement necessary project specific processes to support project execution efficiency and compliance.
  • SIOP: Support SIOP process by translating project (Opportunities, EWA, FEED, ESC...) demand into SIOP demand signals, including; labor hours, External contractor demand, materials and services. Ensure project forecasts reflect approved scope, timing, and funding assumptions used in SIOP.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering, construction management or project management Master's degree project management or business administration desirable.
  • 10 + years of experience in project controls associated with large engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects.
  • We desire experience in Nuclear EPC project.
  • This job requires the ability to travel around 25% of the time (mainly in the European Union).
  • High-level proficiency in project controls.
  • Experience in project controls for complex EPC projects.
  • Experience implementing project controls procedures across a broad range of contract types, including fixed price and cost reimbursable/time and materials.
  • Proficient in English language.
