About the role:

As a Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern you will report to the EHS Manager and be located at the at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a part-time and paid internship from September 2025 (10 months), with the possibility to receive course credit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support activities related to the environment, health and safety of employees with the guidance of a mentor
• Develop and implement policies to reduce hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessment assistance
• Investigate accidents and environmental incidents and liaise with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence
• Provide advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety
• Maintain relationships with the community and environmental groups impacted by the environmental performance of the organization
• Draft documents for the access of workers at customer's facilities (H&S plans, staff individual accreditations, training evidences, Personal Protection Equipment distribution)
• Multiple employer site coordination
• Radioactive Protection monitoring and guidance (Exposed Workers received dose management, access control to Tecnatom's Radioactive Facility)

Qualifications:

• University Degree or Vocational Training/ Intermediate Level Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
  • Grado o Master Degree in Prevención y Seguridad o Prevención de Riesgos Profesionales/ Laborables o Ciclo Formativo/ Grado Medio Técnico de Prevención de Riesgos Profesionales
• Fluent in Spanish and English
