Inspection and Testing Program Intern

About the role:

As an Inspection and Testing Program Intern you will report to the Inspection and Life Management Engineering Lead and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a part-time and paid internship from September 2025, with the possibility to receive course credit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural integrity studies using finite element analysis of components
• Apply codes and standards from regulatory bodies to develop inspection programs
• Analyze operating experience for its application in nuclear power plants
• Failure analysis of components to identify the degradation mechanism that caused the failure
• Use wear prediction tools due to erosion-corrosion in piping
• Prepare documentation for software applications

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Mechanical, Mining, or Physics)
• Knowledge of materials, structures, finite element codes or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C+, Java
• Knowledge in AutoCAD
• English (C1 Advanced level)
