Mechanical Senior Designer CREO

 

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with and receive direction from engineering staff to apply mechanical, systems, and/or structural design engineering concepts into workable functional graphics. Mastery of parametric design tool, especially CREO. Develop assemblies and digital models of complexity incorporating modified concept in manufacturing, installation and/ or construction engineering drawings. Prepare parts, breakdown, and assemblies, integrate complete elements characterized by critical mechanical, structural and/or functional spaces into the design of the facilities.

Assist with analysis of engineering drawings and models for product manufacturability/constructability with includes checking for: ease of interpretation, proper illustration, necessary data, correct and needed dimensioning, proper tolerances congruent with manufacturing costs and feasibility, proper surface finish and weld symbols, proper material specifications and related note data, proper material application and sizes and related drawing format requirements such as bill of materials, proper sign-off and release of documents via project specific and/or department procedures.

Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights, bends, etc. using experimental engineering information and formula.

Interpret specifications, references, etc. in use of stablished drawing principles.

Occasionally, take on-site measurement and data, assistance to walk-downs, and support installation.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

Education: Technician or Vocational qualification certificate (Formación Profesional) related to the technical discipline, or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects (minimum 1 year for Nuclear industry Projects).

Working experience using the following software: CREO, Winchill, Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD.

Candidate should be EU citizen or authorized to work in Spain.

Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and able to work in English language.
